The announcement was made during a dealership launch event in Lahore, marking another major milestone in Pakistan’s shift toward clean and sustainable mobility.
With bookings now open nationwide, the two new electric SUVs significantly strengthen BYD-MMC’s expanding NEV portfolio, catering to both premium performance seekers and urban lifestyle users.
BYD Sealion 7: Premium Performance Electric SUV
Positioned in the premium EV segment, the BYD Sealion 7 is designed to compete with leading global electric SUVs in terms of ride quality, performance, technology, and safety. One of BYD’s highest-selling models in the Asia-Pacific region, the Sealion 7 delivers impressive figures with 380 Nm of torque and 308 horsepower (230 kW).
The SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds and features a strong braking performance with a 37-meter stopping distance from 100–0 km/h. With an ultra-long driving range of up to 567 km on a single charge, the Sealion 7 stands out as a performance-led electric SUV for confident and demanding drivers.
BYD Atto 2: Smart Electric SUV for Everyday Use
The BYD Atto 2 is a compact, intelligent electric SUV tailored for Pakistani roads and daily commuting. It combines modern design with advanced convenience features such as keyless start with NFC card access, a 50W wireless charging pad, electric and ventilated seats, and an intuitive, user-friendly cabin layout.
Performance-wise, the Atto 2 is the fastest vehicle in its category, achieving 0–100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. With a driving range of up to 380 km and up to 75% lower running and maintenance costs compared to internal combustion engine vehicles, the Atto 2 offers a cost-effective and practical entry into electric mobility.

Both vehicles are built on BYD’s proprietary innovations, including the highly acclaimed Blade Battery, known for its superior safety, durability, and thermal stability. They also utilize e-Platform 3.0, enhancing range efficiency and charging performance, along with the industry-first 8-in-1 electric powertrain, which integrates key systems to reduce weight and improve overall reliability.
