Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market has entered a new premium phase with the official unveiling of the AVATR 11 electric SUV by Changan, under its flagship EV brand AVATR. Industry insiders view this launch as a strong signal of growing demand for high-end electric vehicles in Pakistan, especially among buyers seeking luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology in a single package.
AVATR is a high-profile joint venture between Changan, Huawei, and CATL, the world’s leading battery manufacturer. Designed to rival established German luxury brands, the AVATR 11 blends futuristic styling with advanced electric architecture. The SUV’s exterior design is one of its most striking aspects and is led by Nader Faghihzadeh, the Iranian-German designer behind iconic BMW models such as the 7 Series and 6 Series.

Long Range and Powerful Performance
The AVATR 11 is equipped with a 116.79 kWh ternary lithium (NCM) battery, which is exceptionally large for a mid-size SUV. It delivers an impressive 680 km range under NEDC standards and 578 km under WLTP, making it ideal for long-distance travel. A Lahore-to-Islamabad journey can easily be completed on a single charge, eliminating range anxiety for intercity commuters.
The Pakistan-spec variant features a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) configuration, producing 308 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, with a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of approximately 6.6 seconds.
Huawei Technology and Fast Charging
Built on the CHN architecture (Changan + Huawei + CATL), the AVATR 11 benefits from Huawei’s DriveONE iTRACK 800V system, enabling ultra-fast DC charging. With access to a compatible fast charger, drivers can gain up to 200 km of range in just 10 minutes, while a 240 kW DC charger can recharge the battery from 30% to 80% in around 25 minutes.
Ultra-Luxury Interior and Advanced Safety
Inside, the AVATR 11 truly earns its “ultra-luxury” label. The cabin is finished in Nappa leather with a suede roof lining and features three digital displays, including a 15.6-inch central infotainment screen and dedicated passenger display. A 25-speaker Meridian sound system, zero-gravity seats with massage, heating, and ventilation, and dual-zone climate control with smog filtration elevate the experience.
Safety is equally comprehensive, with 6 airbags, 20+ Level-2 ADAS features, a 360-degree camera, parking assist, and auto-reverse functions.
Price and Availability
While pricing has not yet been officially announced, the AVATR 11 is expected to compete in Pakistan’s ultra-luxury EV segment. Booking and pricing details are anticipated soon, and demand is expected to be strong among premium EV buyers.
