Suzuki Brings Back the GSX‑R1000: Less Power, More Legacy

Suzuki is officially reviving the GSX‑R1000 and GSX‑R1000R for the European market as 2026 models, marking a long-awaited return after the line was discontinued in 2022 due to evolving emissions rules.   • Commemorative badges on the fairings, tank, silencer, and even the key fob
  • Special detailing like grey-finished clutch and magneto covers and retro branding throughout

Availability & Comparison

The GSX‑R1000R is slated to re-enter UK and European showrooms in spring 2026, with a public debut expected at Motorcycle Live at NEC this November. Pricing has not yet been confirmed, but it’s expected to remain competitive and slot in below rivals like the BMW S1000RR, Kawasaki ZX-10R, and Ducati Panigale V4.
